Discover The Basque Country

Paddy Woodworth has known, loved and written about the Basque Country since 1975. He has published two books about the Basques and has lectured widely on a variety of Basque topics in the US, Britain, Ireland and Spain. A former editor on the arts and foreign desks of the Irish Times; Franco biographer Paul Preston described his first book, Dirty War, Clean Hands (Yale 2003), as “one of the most important books about post-Franco Spain ever published”.
